A wonderful evening of lights, sound and time was had at The Devil Makes Three. One of the best evenings I ever spent, as everyone else in the hall was on their feet for nearly the whole concert, surrounded by people with high energy who know how to keep a crowd.
The Devil Makes Three waived any payment for their charity benefit performance at Johns Hopkins Hospital Kimmel Cancer Center, an American gesture as remarkable as David Shoen鈥檚 guitar solo of the Star Spangled Banner that mesmerized the house.
Arnel, an ideal replacement for Steve Perry on vocals, added Pilipino passion for high energy songs. Ross Valroy's masterful bass guitar work and audience participation amazed us. Jon Cain took his keyboard solo to new heights, and Deen, one of the hardest working drummers, brought the audience to their feet with his solo. They all showcased why they are a great headliner band.
